Adults Who Grew Up With Minecraft - Childhood Memories & Creativity
The we left be behind...
Hi everyone!
I'm a Film & TV student in London and I'm currently developing a documentary about growing up with Minecraft.
The documentary isn't really about the game itself. It's about childhood, friendships, creativity, and how millions of us shared the same digital world growing up.
I'm looking to speak with people who would be open to sharing their Minecraft stories and memories, whether you're still playing or haven't opened the game in years.
Maybe you spent hours building your dream house. Maybe you were obsessed with roleplay servers. Maybe you lived on Skyblock, Factions or Hunger Games. Maybe you met lifelong friends, lost a world you'll never get back, or simply remember Minecraft as a place that helped shape your childhood.
What fascinates me is that millions of us played the same game, yet our experiences were completely different. I'm interested in hearing those stories, comparing them, and exploring how one game became something unique for every person who played it.
If that sounds like you, I'd love to chat. Interviews can be online, relaxed, and completely informal.
Feel free to comment below or send me a message. I'd love to hear your story!
