Adults with Depression in Rural US - Income, Access & Alcohol

Depression in the US I'm a journalism student at Aarhus University in Denmark working on a data-driven piece about depression in the US. Our research looks at how factors like where you live, your income, and alcohol use relate to mental health β€” and we want to make sure real voices are at the center of the story, not just statistics. If you've personally experienced depression and would be open to sharing a little about your story, we'd love to hear from you. It can be completely anonymous, and there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. We're especially interested in hearing from people who: Live in rural or low-density areas of the US Have felt their financial situation affected their access to mental health support Have ever used alcohol as a way of coping You can reply here, send me a DM, or reach me at [email redacted] if you'd prefer to keep it private. We're happy to send a few written questions your way β€” no calls required. Thank you so much for considering it. πŸ™
