Afternoon Tea Venues Worldwide Appealing to 50s-60s for AARP

2. AARP - The best afternoon tea around the world First, because AARP is such a highly sought-after outlet, I get ridiculous amounts of pitches every time I put out a pitch call. Additionally, most are off because AARP is so specific about what destinations and activities would appeal to their audiences. To help you out (and to increase the number of good pitches I get), I created an AARP Travel Pitch Call Explainer last year, including very specific tips along with an example of an incredible pitch one PR sent me that I included in an AARP piece. I can decide in 5-10 seconds whether or not I’m going to read the full pitch or immediately delete it, so I highly recommend checking it out before pitching me. What I’m looking for: - I’m open to restaurants, hotels, resorts, tea salons, or any establishment offering afternoon tea around the world, including across the US. - Very specific details about why your afternoon tea experience would be appealing to an audience in their 50s (and 60s). - Additional relevant information about the property/establishment that add to why this experience is special (e.g., live violinist, on a tea plantation, oldest teahouse, etc).
