Anime Figure Collector or Seller on Knockoff Figures Experience

Looking to interview a knowledgeable collector/ business owner about anime figures for university project Hey everyone! I'm writing a feature story for a journalism class in university about knock-off (b00tleg) anime figures. I'm looking for collectors or business owners who have experience with this side of the hobby and can speak about it from a community perspective. I'm hoping to talk to someone who can explain things like how they spot them, why recasts have become so common, what their own experiences have been when buying or seeing fakes, how the community views recasts compared to originals and how all of this affects creators and small shops.
