Bouldin Creek residents near Mattie’s: can I ask you about the peacocks? Hi all! I’m a journalism student at UT working on a story for Reporting Texas about the peacocks that roam around Bouldin Creek, especially near Mattie’s. If you live in the neighborhood, I would love to hear your experience with them. Do you think they add charm to the area? Do they wake you up at sunrise with their honking? Do your dogs lose their minds when they see them in the yard? I would especially love to hear from any neighbors with the “Peacocks Welcome Here” signs in their yards or anyone who has had memorable encounters with them.
