SOURCE REQUEST: For an upcoming piece on grocery prices, I'm looking to chat with a former or current grocery cashier about the Scanner Price Accuracy Code. I'm looking for someone who has worked in a major Canadian grocery store (Metro, Loblaws or Sobeys) at some point during the last five years and can tell me about their experiences with customers using the code, if they are trained to enforce it, etc. Happy to use a pseudonym for this story so you can speak freely.
