CFOs & Controllers - Drawing Review Process Changes
Working on a piece for BUILT about a conversation nobody writes about: the
one where you walk into finance and ask to change how your team reviews
drawings.
My hunch is most of these pitches die for a dumb reason. People lead with
hours saved, and that's the first number a chief financial officer throws
out. Nobody's headcount drops, so it never hits the P&L.
Want to find out if I'm right. Looking for:
Chief financial officers, controllers, vice presidents of finance: What
makes you say yes, and what makes you say no?
Preconstruction, virtual design and construction, design technology and
project management folks: If you got the yes, what did you put in front of
them? If you got the no, what was the real objection?
Anyone who sells into these firms: You've watched more of these than
anybody.
Thirty minutes. On or off the record, your call.
I work at Bluebeam, so, disclosure. Not a sales call, and you don't need to
be a customer. Kind of prefer you aren't.
DMs open.
