Chevening Scholars From Nepal - Real Stories Beyond Highlight Reel

What if the people who got Chevening Awards from Nepal told their real story, not the highlight reel, but the honest one? I wasn't sure anyone would respond. Five scholars later, I am humbled. Every single person I reached out to said yes. Without hesitation. Without asking what was in it for them. They filled in long questionnaires, reviewed drafts, shared photographs, and trusted me with stories they hadn't told publicly before. I am so grateful to the 5 amazing scholars for trusting me. Thank you. This series of Scholars Next exists because of you. Now I need your help. The readers. Are you finding these stories useful? If you haven't read their stories already, click the link in the comment below. Are they changing how you think about who these scholarships are actually for? And should I expand beyond Chevening? Australia Awards. Fulbright. Erasmus Mundus. There are Nepali scholars across all of these programmes with stories just as powerful, just as real, just as needed. If you think I should, comment below. Tag a scholar whose story deserves to be told. Or if you are a scholar willing to share yours, drop me a line: [email redacted] Every story we tell makes the next application a little less lonely.
