Chief People Officers & Senior HR Leaders - CPO Role 5-10 Years
Chief People Officer
Chief People and Agent Officer
Chief Work Officer
etc.
The evolution of the Chief People Officer role is becoming increasingly visible, not least through the growing number of organisations formally redefining senior HR leadership titles and mandates as a signal of broader change ahead.
As part of an extracurricular project I’m currently working on, I’m keen to speak with incumbent senior HR leaders who have a perspective (and current experience) on where their CPO role is heading over the next 5–10 years. More specifically in terms of scope, influence, capability, and enterprise leadership.
I’m particularly interested in questions such as:
How will the remit of the CPO continue to evolve?
What new expectations are emerging from boards and CEOs?
How will AI, technology, and workforce transformation reshape the function?
Do future CPOs become broader enterprise operators or general managers?
10 minutes of your time - whether you're a senior practitioner in industry, consulting, a regulatory body or otherwise... all perspectives are welcomed for the purpose of this project.
