Clinicians & Specialists - Life Around Invisible Illness Podcast

Meet ISHLY. A new brand for people living with invisible chronic illness. Not another place telling people to “stay positive”, fight harder or make their illness their entire personality. ISHLY is about the life around it. The good-ish. The bad-ish. The WTF-ish. We’re building honest content, useful products, journals, clothing, resources and conversations for people navigating a life they didn’t exactly plan for. No pity. No miracle cures. No toxic positivity. Real talk. Dark humor. Useful shit. And one of the first things I’m launching is GOOD-ISH, the ISHLY podcast. This is also where I need your help. 🎙️ I’m looking for professionals and clinicians who want to join me as guests. Psychologists. Occupational therapists. Physiotherapists. Sexologists and relationship therapists. Dietitians. Researchers. Career and workplace specialists. Doctors and other healthcare professionals. And people working in areas I probably haven’t even thought of yet. I’m not looking for conversations about “5 ways to cure your chronic illness.” Quite the opposite. I want to talk about the things that actually happen around invisible chronic illness. 👉🏻What happens to a relationship when one person’s capacity changes? 👉🏻Why can resting make you feel guilty? 👉🏻How do you build a career around unpredictable energy? 👉🏻What happens to sex and intimacy when your body changes? 👉🏻How do you grieve the person you were without giving up on the person you’re becoming? 👉🏻Why is constantly having to explain yourself so exhausting? 👉🏻And how the hell do you build a good life when your body keeps changing the plans? If you have professional expertise that could make one of those conversations better, I want to hear from you. Comment below, DM me, or tag someone I absolutely need to speak to. And if you’re living with invisible chronic illness yourself: Welcome to ISHLY. We have a lot to talk about. Life, give or take. → ishly.life
