Compulsive Gamblers on Aripiprazole - Documentary

Documentary filmmaker seeking folks who have experienced Compulsive Gambling/Spending while on Aripiprazole This post has Mod pre-approval. Hello folks! I am a documentary filmmaker who was recently personally affected by the rarely known (outside of this and a few other small circles like the RLS community) side-effect of Compulsive Gambling/Spending that can accompany Aripiprazole use. I am seeking those who have experienced this side effect personally. If that's you, and you'd like to speak about your experience, either anonymously or on-camera, and be part of the documentary, please comment below! I am based in Middle Tennessee, USA, and if you're within a couple hours of here, I'd be more than willing to come with an equipment setup and interview you in-person! Otherwise, Zoom works just fine. If you choose to be anonymous, we can leave cameras off, and use voice changing software to mask your voice. We can even change your gender for the sake of anonymity. The documentary seeks to highlight this potentially devastating side-effect, raises questions about why its not more communicated to patients and well-known to the public, and just what anyone is supposed to do about it. It will also explore a bit about America's culture of gambling, spending and shopping in general, as well as a little bit generally about gambling addiction and Debtor's Anonymous. So far we have interviews with other affected individuals, a Clinical Psychologist, and are slated to have interviews with a Lawyer from a class action lawsuit that was settled confidentially, a head of psychiatry at a university, and if we're really lucky maybe even a couple policy-makers.
