Contemporary Authors in English - Podcast Book Picks & Interviews

Contemporary Literature Hey, everyone. I'm looking for contemporary literature books in English for a podcast episode (a college project, nothing big) and for that I'd like to be able to talk to the author as well. It can be from any English speaking country, any theme, it doesn't even have to be a novel. Do you have any recommendations?
