Current & Former Police Officers - Football Policing Crowd Management

URGENT- Any current/former police open to a short interview regarding football policing??? Hi all, I’m an MA Broadcast Journalism student at the University of Sheffield working on a short news package about football policing and crowd management following recent disorder linked to PSG’s Champions League celebrations in Paris. I’m looking to speak to someone with policing experience or knowledge of public order / football policing for a brief comment or short phone interview today or tomorrow (very tight deadline). I’m specifically interested in: how police assess and manage risk around spontaneous football celebrations how crowd disorder escalates in these situations whether policing approaches differ between countries (e.g. UK vs France) lessons learned from recent high-profile events Happy to keep it brief (5–10 minutes) and do it by phone or online at a time that suits you.
