Current College Students & Recent Grads - Everyday AI Experiences
**CALL FOR CONVERSATIONS ABOUT AI WITH CURRENT AND RECENTLY GRADUATED STUDENTS**
Hi all! I’m working on a larger public-facing writing project exploring how students are actually experiencing AI in their daily lives. After the viral AI commencement boo-ing, I'm increasingly fascinated by the disconnect between students and admin on AI and I want to hear more from students!
Some of the questions I’m curious about:
-When do students turn to AI instead of another person?
-Does AI feel like a tool, collaborator, tutor, editor, companion, or something else entirely?
-What do students think adults misunderstand about their AI use?
-Where does AI feel empowering? Exhausting? Helpful? Uncomfortable?
-How is AI shaping learning, creativity, confidence, communication, or even emotional life?
I’m especially interested in nuance, contradiction, and honesty.
If you’re a current college student or graduated within the last year and would be open to a conversation, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to comment or message me directly.
