Early Stage Breast Cancer Survivor for Mammography Screening Story
I'm looking to interview someone who has had breast cancer that was detected at an early stage (stage 0 or 1) through routine mammography. This interview will be part of a larger story about the benefits/risks of mammography. I'm only writing about women at average risk for this particular article (because screening in people at high risk really deserves own story). I'm also looking to interview someone who deliberately followed the advice of a cancer/health organization, i.e., the American College of Radiology (annual mammograms beginning at 40) or U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (every other year). As always, I would love to include the voices of women from underserved communities. Thanks!
