EMDR Therapists for University of Arizona Honors Thesis Interview
Call for an interviewee for an Honors Thesis publication -
Hi all! My name is Truitt (call me Tru!) and I am a Neuroscience and Cognitive Science student at the University of Arizona working on my Honors Senior Thesis. My project is designed to introduce college students to EMDR in a way that feels accessible, relevant, and grounded in real experience. The piece is written in a journalistic style with vivid, tangible storytelling that helps readers see themselves in the narrative.
I am looking to interview practicing EMDR therapists who are willing to share their real world experiences with the modality. This would be a relaxed, conversational interview about how you explain EMDR to clients, what surprised you most when you began using it, the moments that remind you why this work matters, etc.
The interview would take about thirty minutes and can be done virtually at your convenience. Or in-person for Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tucson therapists. With your consent, short excerpts may be featured in an academic article and creative visual project aimed at making EMDR more accessible to students and young adults. Anonymity is always an option.
If you are interested or curious, please comment below or send me a message!
Thank you for the work you all do and for considering being part of this project.
