Exceptional Data Professionals - Sourcing & Partnerships & Monetization

Posted something different today in the newsletter. Yes, I'm on holiday in Italy, but no, it was not one of those "humbled and honored to be taking some time off" posts (still learning what time off is). While many are out looking for a man in finance (and apparently a new business may be created from this newsletter post - see screenshot), I'm looking for the best in data. This is intentionally broad: find exceptional people globally. I’m particularly interested in people who understand how to find, evaluate, acquire, structure, or extract value from differentiated data. That could mean alternative data sourcing, data partnerships, data procurement, research, market data, web data, healthcare data, geospatial data, transaction data, data monetization or something I haven't thought of. The folks do not need to be actively looking for a job. In fact, some of the people I most want to hear about probably aren't. What matters is that they are unusually good at what they do, intellectually curious, commercial, and obsessed with finding information that other people don't have, or figuring out how to make better use of the information they do. If someone immediately came to mind while reading this, I want to know who they are and why you think that.
