Film & TV Aspiring Creatives - False Dawns & Big Wins

I will be deleting this post soon. I am really excited to tell you about my new film, it's been some time in the making... but it comes with an ask. Over the past five years or so, while starting my journey into the Film & TV industry, I have been lucky to add my perspective on the class barriers facing it and a creative life as a whole. It has been a privilege of a lifetime speaking to the biggest news outlets in the UK, consulting local cultural policy, and meeting incredible people making a difference. That was never initially the plan however, and the film centers around the catalyst, what happened next and what didn't. A short period of time that encapsulates the paradoxical nature of what it's like to aspire to be in the industry and how we use the titles we give ourselves to measure self worth. But I need to balance it out with your stories. I want to hear of your false dawns, the ambitious projects that were never going to work (perhaps they did). The absolute big wins and the heartbreaking losses, when you realised neither would last forever. The time when you wanted to throw your camera out the window and buy a guitar because musicians were cooler anyway. You get the idea. I am not looking for experts, I truly just want vibes wherever you are in your story. If this sparked a thought at all, please message me, all conversations are welcome.
