Filmmakers With Abandoned Non-Fiction Projects - Unfinished Footage

Abandoned Films? I have been making non-fiction and documentary films for a long time. Sometimes these films are not completed for various reasons; the filmmaker runs out of time, or money, or the pieces just never came together, leaving the footage abandoned on a hard drive somewhere. I would like to hear from anyone sitting on an abandoned non-fiction film project.
