The Blue Line Voice — Blood, Sand & Smoke podcast is currently welcoming virtual guests for 2027.
The podcast is built around real conversations with law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatchers, veterans, military families, first-responder families, advocates, clinicians, and others whose lives have been shaped by service.
The story matters — but the conversation does not stop at what happened.
I also want to know what came next.
What helped? What didn’t? What resources made a difference? How did the experience affect the family? What did recovery, transition, treatment, faith, peer support, advocacy, or finding a new purpose actually look like?
That is where The Blue Line Voice — Blood, Sand & Smoke podcast is a little different.
I also understand that sharing these experiences publicly is not easy. Some stories involve the hardest moments of a person’s life, and opening that part of yourself to people you have never met takes courage. There is real power in being willing to tell the truth about what happened, what it cost, and how you found a way forward. Sometimes that story becomes exactly what someone else needed to hear.
The goal is not simply to tell powerful stories. It is to create honest conversations that leave people with something useful — a resource, a different perspective, greater understanding, or a path they may not have known existed.
If you have a story, professional perspective, organization, resource, or experience that could genuinely serve this community, I’d like to hear from you.
