Former Prisoners with Assault Experience for Prison Overcrowding Study

📢 JOURNO REQUEST 📢 / TW: SEXUAL ASSAULT 🩷 I wouldn't usually take to LinkedIn for this, but I'm really hopeful my connections can help me out here. I'm currently writing a piece for my MA course, looking into the rates of sexual assault in prisons. I'm focusing on the idea that overcrowding in prisons has increased rates of assault, and am really keen to speak to someone with lived experience of being in prison, and if possible, someone who has experienced assault whilst inside. As someone with experience of assault myself, I understand that this is an incredibly sensitive topic, but I equally understand the importance of speaking out about these issues. I'm looking to conduct a short interview with someone who has this lived experience. I'm open to speaking to anyone, although it would be even more useful to speak to women and people from marginalised backgrounds. This can be a phone call, video call, in person, or over email.
