Former Software Developers - Left Tech Because of AI - Career Plans

Journo request 💃🏼 We hear a lot about how AI is causing job losses, but I wonder if people are actively leaving their roles in tech BECAUSE of AI. And if so, what do they plan to do next? I met a former software developer the other day who left his tech job, in part because of how AI had changed the nature of his role and reduced the enjoyment of it.
