Good news, folks! We're excited to introduce Game Night, ThePhrasemaker's new weekly publication, released every Friday by none other than Lucas Simons (that's me, btw). Each edition covers the biggest stories shaping the gaming industry, but more importantly, we also want the people behind games an opportunity to weigh in. We're looking to feature developers and industry professionals who want to share their perspectives on the trends and challenges driving game development today. From discussions about AI, live service games, preservation, accessibility, indie development, publishing, and player expectations to the day-to-day realities of making games, Game Night is all about hearing directly from the people who know the industry best. Of course, we're always happy to hear about what you're working on. If there's an upcoming title, a milestone worth celebrating, or a project you'd like to spotlight, we'd love to include it as part of the conversation. At the heart of Game Night, though, is the opportunity to have relaxed, meaningful discussions about the gaming industry and the people shaping it. Every edition also features our "What Are You Playing This Weekend?" segment, where guests can share what they've been enjoying recently, recommend hidden gems, or simply join in on a lighthearted conversation with fellow gamers. The format is intentionally casual. Think of it as sitting down with a fellow enthusiast to chat about games and the industry, whether that's through a quick Q&A or a longer discussion. We want personalities, honest opinions, and conversations that readers won't find in a standard press release.
