Game Developers in Albania - Building Industry From Scratch

"that industry doesn't exist in your country." i've heard this so many times. Albania πŸ‡¦πŸ‡± has maybe one or two small studios. no demand. no publishers. no ecosystem. no one hiring game developers because there's nothing to hire them for. young people here learn to code and immediately look for a way out. freelancing for foreign companies. leaving the country entirely. because nobody showed them they could build something here. that's what hurts the most. the talent exists. the hunger exists. but the belief doesn't. so i started doing the only thing i could getting people in a room. i organized two events. one at POLIS University . one where i stood in front of strangers and told them every way i've failed. and something broke open. people who had been making games alone in their bedrooms for years finally said it out loud. people who thought they were the only ones. they weren't. the full story drops soon on youtube. episode 2. if you've ever tried to build something in a place where the industry doesn't exist yet, i want to hear your story. what did it feel like to be the only one?
