Laid-Off Ski Resort Employees and J1s Needed for Colorado Article

J1s and other employees being sent home/laid off? Hello! I am a reporter for a Colorado mountain newspaper group. We've been hearing rumors these last couple weeks about ski resorts laying off employees and possibly sending J1s home due to the lack of snow so far this year. I am hoping to get in touch with some people who have been laid off or sent home for an article I am working on. Has anyone else heard these rumors and know if there is any veracity to them?
