Dutch YouTuber heading to Vegas — looking to talk to advantage players about the real world behind card counting
Hey all,
I'm Darrell, I make long-form documentary-style videos on YouTube (mostly travel, challenges, and diving into subcultures most people never see). I'm heading to Vegas soon and want to make something that actually respects this world instead of the usual "here's how casinos catch cheaters" clickbait.
I'm not looking for a strategy tutorial. I want to understand what it's actually like — getting backbarred, staying anonymous, working as a team, the paranoia, the math, the lifestyle. The human side of it.
A few things upfront:
Full anonymity is no problem — face blur, voice changer, fake name, whatever you need.
I'm not trying to expose anyone or make anyone look bad. If it doesn't feel right after we talk, we don't use it.
Happy to do a call first so you can see I'm not some random with a camera showing up unannounced.
If you're an AP (or know one who might be open to talking, even just a call, no camera required) feel free to comment or DM me. Even if you don't want to be filmed, I'd genuinely love to just hear your story.
Thanks for reading, and no hard feelings if this isn't for you — I know this community gets a lot of media requests.
