Conversations with Locals and business owners Hi, I’m looking to interview local business owners and long-term residents who would be open to sharing their story—either the story of their business or their personal connection to the community For business owners, this would focus on: How your business started What you do What you’re proud of For long-term residents, it would simply be: Your lived experience Your story Anything you feel is worth sharing I'd love to hear about the history of what the island used to be like vs now This would be a low-pressure, in-person conversation. With your permission, I can also take photos—of you, your work, or your space. Everything is optional What you get: Your story written and shared respectfully Photos you’re free to use on your own website or social/business pages Writing you’re welcome to repost or share anywhere Full control — if you decide you don’t want anything shared, I’ll discard it There’s no cost and no obligation. I’m very community-oriented and genuinely enjoy listening to people’s stories. My goal is simply to document and highlight the people who make this area what it is.
