Mums - Going Into Debt Over Summer Holidays

Case study opportunity: Families feeling the financial pressure of the summer holidays I’m looking to hear from mums who have found themselves getting into debt or struggling financially as a result of the cost of the summer holidays. With the cost of living continuing to put pressure on household finances, the long school holidays can bring additional costs - from childcare and days out to food, activities and simply trying to keep children entertained. I’d particularly like to hear from mums who feel they’ve had to spend more than they can realistically afford because they want their children to enjoy the summer, or who have found themselves relying on credit, borrowing money or going into debt to get through the holidays. This is for a national publication, and the aim is to explore the wider financial pressures families are facing. If this resonates with you, or you know someone who might be willing to share their experience, please DM me - or you can email me at [email redacted]. All conversations would be handled sensitively. Please feel free to share this post x
