Oregon Resident Long-Term Care Professionals - Revolution In Care

I’m working on a piece for an Oregon publication exploring the idea of “revolution” inside long-term care—what change really looks like on the ground, and what it asks of the people living and working within the system. I’m gathering short reflections from professionals like you to help tell a more collective story. These must be from resident Oregonians. If you’re open to contributing, I’d love a brief response (a few sentences to a paragraph) to one or two of the questions below: What is one moment in your work that changed how you see this system? Where do you see real change happening—and where does it feel impossible? What does dignity look like in practice, not theory? What do people outside this world fundamentally misunderstand? If a “revolution” in long-term care were real, what would it look like? Responses may be quoted (with your permission) in the piece. Thank you for the work you do—it matters more than most people realize.
