Parents - Teaching Kids Money Mindset & Habits

One of the things I've loved most about interviewing women over the past few months is that no two stories are exactly alike. Every woman has a different experience, different challenges, and different hopes for the future. But one theme keeps coming up. So many of us want to teach our kids about money because we don't want them to struggle with the same questions, uncertainty, or mistakes we faced. We want to set them up for success. But what I've realized is that we're teaching them so much more than how to save, spend, or invest. We're teaching them how we react when money is tight. Whether we believe there's always enough or never enough. Whether we allow ourselves to dream, set goals, and believe they're possible, or whether fear keeps us playing small. They learn those lessons long before we ever sit them down to talk about a budget. Those are the conversations that have me so excited about the book I'm working on. It's becoming about so much more than money. It's about the beliefs, habits, and stories we pass down—often without even realizing it. I'm still looking to interview parents who are willing to share their own experiences. If that sounds like you, I'd love to connect.
