Portland Buyers of Alleged Haunted Items - Ebay & Facebook Experiences

I'm investigating haunted items sold on Ebay/Facebook Marketplace, has anybody had any experiences with this? I'm an independent journalist located in Portland, and am currently working on a story investigating the phenomenon of people selling allegedly haunted items at online marketplaces like Ebay and Facebook. I'm looking to learn more about how the industry works, it's validity, and personal experiences of people who've engaged in that world. I'm curious if anyone here has ever actually purchased one of these supposed haunted objects, and your take on the experience. I'm hoping to get a more local perspective on the matter, so if anyone has any stories about things related to this in the Portland area that would be awesome to hear.
