Power Trading Leaders - Podcast Hits 500 Spotify Hours

I just noticed NordSearch Podcast has just passed 500 hours of listening time on Spotify in the last 30 days. For a niche podcast dedicated entirely to Power Trading, that's a milestone I'm incredibly proud of. The reality is we'll never have hundreds of thousands of listeners per episode and that's not the goal. What matters is who is listening. Today, the podcast reaches a highly engaged audience in over 100 countries, including CEOs, Heads of Trading, Power Traders, Quants, Investors, Asset Owners and PhDs looking to enter the market. Three years ago, when I founded NordSearch, I decided to launch the podcast at the same time. Looking back, it's been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things I've done in my career. Since then, we've recorded 50 episodes with leaders from some of the highest-performing power trading firms in the world. Around 90% of our guests had never appeared on a podcast before, meaning listeners have been able to hear stories and insights they simply couldn't get anywhere else. One conversation that stuck with me happened last week. The CEO of a power trading firm told me they listen to every episode. When I asked why, they said: "Our industry can be closed and secretive, yet you consistently speak to leaders we respect. We always learn something from each episode." Comments like that make all the hours of preparation, recording and editing worthwhile.
