PR Students & Early-Career Pros Worldwide - Entering PR Today

PR students, fresh graduates, interns and juniors: I WANT TO HEAR YOUR STORY. Since February, I've been buried in DMs. I've had countless conversations with early-career PR and communications professionals, sometimes over messages, sometimes jumping on a call. I've heard about the applications that went nowhere. The ghosting. The “entry-level” jobs asking for 2-3 years of experience. The uncertainty around what employers actually expect. But I've also heard about your ambitions. What you're learning. What you're trying. And what you wish the PR industry understood about entering this profession today. Now I want to go beyond my DMs. I want to hear from early-career PR and communications professionals around the WORLD. And then I want to take those stories back to our industry. If you're a: → PR / comms student → fresh graduate → intern → junior / early-career professional and you're willing to share your experience, please fill in the short form I'll leave in the comments. You have until 15 October. I'm particularly interested in: → What has your job search actually been like? → What are the biggest barriers you're facing? → How prepared did you feel when entering the industry? → What do you think employers expect from you? → What support do you wish you had? → And what do you want senior PR professionals to understand about your generation? My goal is to identify the patterns behind these individual stories and turn them into a bigger conversation about what it actually looks like to enter PR and communications today. Because I've spent months talking TO you. Now I want the industry to hear FROM you. Let's make some noise. 💙
