Practitioners & Lived-Experience - Crisis Support & Belonging

I've been thinking about bringing back The Anchor podcast. Our first one launched in 2020 and was pretty cool to record, and impactful for our work. Keen this is not another podcast full of buzzwords, polished presentations and people pretending everything is working perfectly. A space for honest conversations about the issues facing our communities and the challenges facing those working hard within it. I'd like to talk about: 🤨 Are we really doing enough to support people experiencing crisis? 💰Is annual funding helping or harming long-term change? ❌ What happens when demand continues to rise but resources don’t? ✅ Is lived experience a tick box in 2026? 💙 How do we build services that create genuine belonging, not just interventions? 😪 Why do our people keep dying alone? I'd love to hear from practitioners, leaders, people with lived experience of adversity, funders, researchers, policy makers and community members. No scripts. No jargon. Just honest discussion about what works, what doesn’t, and what needs to change. If The Anchor launched a podcast like this, would you listen? And what conversations do you think our sector needs to be having right now? #MentalHealth #SuicidePrevention #TraumaInformedPractice #CommunityDevelopment #ThirdSector #YouthWork #Belonging #TheAnchor
