36 hours. Two builders. One real problem to solve. From nearly 300 applicants, Padmaja Pabbathi and I were selected to join SYE’s hand-picked cohort of 60 builders in Stockholm. Today at 18:00, Padmaja Pabbathi and I begin the SYE Hackathon 2026 in Stockholm as Team Arjunworks. We are exploring a problem that is becoming increasingly important as professionals use AI to help create research and client reports: A citation can be real, while the source still does not support the claim attached to it. At the official kickoff, we will create a new repository and begin building from scratch. Our goal is not only to make a working demo but also to validate the problem with real users and build something professionals could genuinely use before a report reaches a client. We are currently looking to speak with independent research, strategy and market-intelligence consultants who produce citation-heavy reports in English.
