River Lofts Tenants - Unsafe Conditions & Tenant Rights

Looking to interview people currently living at The River Lofts at Tobacco Row and hear their experiences Hello reddit fam- I recently created a social media page called richmond.weird. The focus is to highlight niche subcultures in Richmond, interview local weirdos and local heroes, and investigate important stories concerning the city. One of the dilemmas facing our city right now are that we have a plethora of predatory landlords and property management companies that ignore tenant complaints and harbor unsafe living conditions. I want to do a deep dive into tenants’ rights in the city, interview a couple of grassroots organizers fighting for tenant rights to learn more about what’s currently being done to combat this issue and how people can get involved to help, and hear from people actively being exploited by a property management company or private landlord. I want to focus on two primary apartment complexes- one of them being the River Lofts at Tobacco Row. I’d like to find 2-3 people currently living at The River Lofts experiencing issues such as unsafe living conditions, rent payment disputes, mail getting stolen, etc. If you have any interest in sharing your story just shoot me a DM or [email redacted].
