Sports & Exercise Medicine Clinicians - Unconventional Roles & Stories

One thing that struck me when I started exploring SEM properly is how wildly different the role can look depending on where you end up. You have got people doing ringside cover at boxing on a Saturday morning, travelling with Premier League academies, running MSK clinics in leisure centres, embedded in cricket or rugby setups, working in expedition medicine or military sport - the variety is enormous and most of it happens quietly, with very little written about it. We are building an Insights section on StudySEM featuring articles and stories from across the SEM world - already read by hundreds of SEM clinicians and those training towards it, with pieces shared weekly in the newsletter. We would love to feature more voices. If you work in or around sports and exercise medicine and have an interesting role or an interesting story about how you got there, I would genuinely like to hear from you. Does not matter what stage you are at or what your job title is. DM me here, or if we are not connected yet, email at: [email redacted]
