Sports Fans Using FanDuel & DraftKings - Fandom Impact

Anyone interested in sharing your story? Hey everyone. My name is Jake Nevins and I'm a sportswriter who has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Atlantic, among others. I spoke to the moderators for this sub this morning and got permissions to post, so I hope you'll indulge me. I am working on a book about sports fandom, the internet, and communities of like-minded sports enthusiasts that have been forged in places like Reddit, Discord, YouTube, X, and others. Of course, the legalization of online gambling plays a big part in all this, so I am looking to interview some folks whose experience of sports fandom has been affected, positively or negatively, by the advent of FanDuel, DraftKings, etc.—and hopefully do right by your stories. If you're up for it, shoot me a DM on here or drop a comment below. Here's my site, by the way:https://www.jakehnevins.com/ Thanks, Jake Nevins
