Tarrant County Nonprofit Leaders - Philanthropy Impact On Communities

I'm currently in Minneapolis at the Association of Health Care Journalists annual conference, so it seems like as good a time as any to announce I'm no longer reporting on health for the Fort Worth Report. Last week, I stepped into the Nonprofit Editor role at the publication. Through the position, I'll be reporting on Tarrant County's nonprofit and philanthropic world and how the money from these organizations and donors influence the communities in the region. In the new role, I'll also be providing support and guidance to the Report's health, faith and arts beats, assisting with reporting on stories falling in between those coverage areas. I'm very excited to step into the management team at the Report! This publication continues to grow, and has become a pivotal community resource to Fort Worth and surrounding cities.
