Personal news klaxon! 📢 Very happy to share I’ve been promoted to AI correspondent at MLex. No, that doesn’t mean I’m now an AI chatbot! Far from it (I hope). It means that, in addition to my usual coverage of online safety issues (particularly in the UK, but also beyond), I’m now reporting more broadly on tech regulation and legal developments regarding AI. Really excited about this new role, and very grateful to my editors and colleagues for the recognition and for the opportunity to expand my areas of coverage.
