Traditional Storytellers & Harpists - Embracing Childhood Calling

Many of us spend our lives searching for our purpose, but that doesn’t always involve discovering something new. Sometimes, we can only find what we’re looking for by piecing together the clues of ourselves we’ve always really known. Recently, I was lucky enough to catch up with my pal Isabelle Hauser, who understands how following your instincts can lead you to a creative path that lights up with meaning. As a traditional storyteller, Isabelle’s practice sits at the intersection of myth, music and performance, bringing together her skills as a harpist and coach to cultivate spaces for community and belonging. Over the summer, we had the chance to chat about the joy that comes with finally embracing your childhood calling, the slow but worthy process of shaping a creative practice of your very own, and why choosing to see the wonder around us can offer a radical form of resistance. https://lnkd.in/erkfCcWv Huge thanks to Isabelle for her time and being a wonderful interviewee 💗 I’m always curious about the stories behind creative work, so if you fancy chatting to me about why you do what you do, drop me a line - I’d love to chat with you :)
