Looking for sources for an article on gender-diverse professional wrestling! Hi! My name is Patience Hurston and I am a journalist taking part in theWindy City Times"Our Stories, Our Power" 2026 cohort. I am writing an article looking at the current landscape of transgender and gender-diverse independent professional wrestling in Chicago. I am looking to interview Chicago and Illinois-based LGBTQ+ professional wrestlers (although if you live in the Midwest and just wrestle in Chicago that is okay too!), promoters, staff, and event goers.
