ICYMI + call for sources: The employee leading the U.S. Web Design System at the General Services Administration, Anne Petersen, was placed on administrative leave a few weeks ago and has been replaced by Ryan Parker, a Treasury Department AI engineer, according to two sources familiar with the matter. Individuals working on U.S. Web Design System GitHub repositories began losing access early last week, the sources added. This all comes as an executive order mandates the U.S. Web Design System align with the National Design Studio, a Trump administration creation that has built federal websites like TrumpRx.
