Workplace Leaders Who Faced Trauma - Stories of Hidden Burdens

Lately I've been feeling a deep sense of nostalgia. I've been reflecting a lot on the journey that brought us here. One thing I've noticed is a pattern. So many people are leading at work, holding everything together, solving problems, and carrying enormous responsibility. Then they go home and quietly fall apart behind closed doors. I know because I've been one of them. Part of my own healing has been documenting that journey through Leaders Lead and sharing the stories of people who have faced incredible adversity and somehow found a way forward. I'm constantly reminded that some of the strongest people you'll ever meet are carrying burdens most of us will never see. People surviving the worst things imaginable. Losing children. Battling illness. Experiencing trauma. Losing everything. And yet somehow finding joy, purpose, and healing by helping others. We have people like that right here in Washington. We have people like that all over the country. All over the world, fam. Their stories deserve to be told. If you'd like to see more conversations like this, send me a message or leave a comment below. I'd love to hear from you. Talk to you soon.
