#PitchCall for November 2026
[Open to writers with an INDIAN BANK ACCOUNT only]
For the next issue of Travel Handmade, #NeverStopDiscovering, we’re looking for stories that go beyond the obvious and uncover new ways to experience a place through people, culture, food, design, history, and movement.
We’re looking for stories that go beyond the obvious and invite readers to see a destination differently.
Tell us about the Europe you haven’t heard of: lesser-known destinations and emerging experiences shaping conscious luxury, from community-led tours and expert-led history walks to craft, culture, adventure, and reimagined regional cuisine.
Perhaps you’ve discovered the experience you almost missed: a niche, bespoke experience that reveals a destination in an unexpected way. Think wine trails explored by e-bike, where food, landscape, heritage and adventure come together.
We’re also interested in when the hotel becomes the destination. We want to hear about stays where architecture, design, heritage or community are reason enough to make the journey, whether that’s a boutique heritage hotel, a thoughtfully designed luxury property or a lifestyle retreat with a strong sense of place.
As autumn arrives, tell us about autumn, unfiltered: destinations that truly come alive in the fall, through changing landscapes, seasonal food, harvests, festivals and slow countryside escapes.
Basically, we’re interested in stories that make readers pause and think: “I didn’t know you could experience this place like that.”
If you have a story to tell, send us a detailed pitch at [email redacted]
P.S. Please share a drive link to your original images with your pitch. Photos are integral to Travel Handmade, and we can’t commission a story without supporting visuals. If you don’t have original images, please mention it upfront.
