Adult Children & Parents in Sydney or Melbourne - Spending Inheritance

Parents spending money in retirement that would otherwise be your inheritance? I'm a writer with The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, working on a story about inheritance/financial help and the generational divide. It's for the lifestyle section so will be taking a look at this from a relationships perspective. Basically, I'm keen to talk to people whose parents are spending money in retirement that would otherwise be passed down as their inheritance, or whose parents are wealthy and have chosen to spend money on themselves rather than help out their kids.
