Advertising Strategists in India - Standardization, Upbringing & Skills

For the next few weeks, I'm going to be talking to the strategy folk of advertising in India on 1. standardization of basics of the discipline, 2. how our upbringing can shape our perspectives as professionals, and 3. the attributes that make us better strategists. This is for the coming edition of Anthro Bulletin, where I try to draw parallels between our work as planners, social researchers, strategists with anthropological studies and simultaneously study the people of my profession, their wants, their wins, and their woes. I want to hear you, your thoughts, your assessments, your insight-hunting practices. So if you could spare 45-60 mins of your time this week, I'd love to get in touch and schedule a meeting. It hasn't been done before, I hear. I believe it needs to be done sooner than later. About Anthro Bulletin: Anthro Bulletin is a monthly digital magazine by Anthropos India Foundation wherein we learn about the latest in anthropological research, its findings in cultural diversity, and social impact from interventions and policy framing. I'll be sure to share link upon completion. Looking forward to hearing from you, your first, second, third degree connections, and going beyond too. If you feel like CFBRing, please go ahead. Talk soon!
