African Tech Practitioners & Founders - Technology Impact on Africa

Africa doesn’t need more noise about technology. We need better conversations about what technology is actually doing to our people, our work, our businesses and our future. That is one of the reasons we created 𝗖𝗧𝗥𝗟 𝗔𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗔. A podcast and media platform where 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗿 and 𝗗 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 will explore the conversations shaping Africa’s digital future from AI and cybersecurity to education, agriculture, business, digital skills and the technologies changing everyday life. The goal is simple: Question the hype. Understand the impact. And we don’t want these conversations to be limited to just the two of us. We are already collating expressions of interest for future guest appearances on Ctrl Africa. This is open to students, professionals, educators, researchers, founders, business owners, farmers, builders, and practitioners working across AI, cybersecurity, technology, education, agriculture, business, and other areas shaping Africa’s future. You do not need to be a CEO or a “big name.” If you have useful experience, a strong perspective, an interesting story or work that can help people understand where Africa is going, we would like to hear from you.
