Amazon Basin Rewilding Voices for Rewildology Series

Hello, my wonderful network! I'm in the early stages of producing Rewildology's next investigative series: Rewilding Amazonia. The central question driving this 8-part series is: What does it take to rewild the Amazon—and who are the people making it happen? I'm looking to feature voices from across the Amazon basin who are doing the hard, often dangerous work of protecting and restoring these forests. This includes (but not limited to): - Indigenous guardians and territorial defenders - Park rangers and frontline protectors - Former loggers or miners who switched sides - Scientists working on restoration, connectivity, species recovery, or climate tipping points - Community leaders building sustainable economic alternatives - COP30 experts - Anyone fighting illegal extraction, roads, or dams Who are the crucial voices I need to include? Please tag them below or share this post directly. I'd be honored to amplify the work of people on the ground making a difference. The series is tentatively scheduled to launch in February 2026.
