Americans Impacted by Rising Living Costs for NYT Affordability Series

For a series of upcoming stories, we are interested in learning about how costs affect your day-to-day decisions, as well as your plans for the future. We want to hear from Americans who are experiencing the affordability crisis—those struggling with the cost of housing, child care, health care, transportation, and other big-ticket necessities. Specifically, we are seeking stories about how rising expenses have impacted your life, including measures you've taken to reduce household expenses, such as moving in with relatives, delaying education or retirement, or reconsidering having children because of costs. What are some specific measures that you've taken to reduce your household expenses? For example, have you moved in with relatives because your rent or mortgage was too high? Are you putting off going to college or retirement? Are you reconsidering having children because of the cost? What is a regular expense you have that is now particularly difficult?
